Engineering Certificates for Amusement Parks & Rides
Amusement Parks and Rides due to their inherent nature can often be unsafe if not routinely inspected and examined. Accordingly, many jurisdictions in Australia require timely inspection and examination of amusement devices as to minimise the probability of any accidents. In NSW, WorkCover require that Amusement Devices to registered and for the registration to be renewed annually under the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001 (OHS Regulation). Clause 114(c) of the regulation requires an initial registration of a device that requires installation (such as installing electrical components). Clause 118 relates to the annual renewal that requires an inspection and certificate from qualified engineer.
Mobility Engineering has the qualifications and experience for performing these engineering inspections and providing engineering certificates. Mobility Engineering’s knowledgeable engineers have accumulated considerable experience in testing amusement park components and determining the overall safety of amusement device and its compliance with the relevant standards.
