The Carony Drive Loc Tie-Down System

LOC Tie-Down System is a securement specially designed for the Autoadapt Carony
GO electric wheelchair. With Drive LOC a wheelchair occupant can secure their
wheelchair in the vehicle without any assistance by an attendant.
- The wheelchair tie-down system is an electric lock that consists of a locking
unit that mounts to the floor of the vehicle and safety-pins on the bottom
of the wheelchair. When the wheelchair rolls over top of the box, all three
pins engages, forming a triangular safety grip that holds the wheelchair securely.
To release the wheelchair, a button is pushed to disengage.
- When secured in the Drive LOC you have a safe and steady seat position with
a minimum of sway. A manual back-up release ensures a quick escape in case
of an emergency.
- The Carony Drive LOC Tie-Down System together with the Carony GO wheelchair
are crash tested and approved with a CE-mark.
