The electrical tip-up plate has been designed to create a transfer bridge between the car seat and the wheelchair, in order to make it easier to get in and out of the car.
It can be installed in cars with three or five doors, either on the right or on the left side of the car, without altering the general structure of the vehicle and without replacing the original seat.
It is suitable for cars where there is a big difference in height between the vehicle’s seat and the wheelchair: the user slides from the wheelchair to the plate and then, by means of an electric motor, is raised up to the seat level.
It is controlled by a push-button handset.
It is removable: during the journey, you must remove the plate so as not to interfere with the inside of the vehicle.
It is provided with security systems:
The operation of the device stops automatically at the end of the cycle or in case of an obstruction preventing operation
It works only when the relevant door is open
The maximum load is 120 Kg.
They don't require the replacing of the original safety belt, because they don't interfere at all with it.
