The Autoadapt Roof Spider is a product like no other. Mounted to the top of the car, the roof spider allows you to store away your wheelchair with ease. An arm comes out of the unit to the side of the car which allows the user to attach the folded wheel to. The arm then automatically packs away the wheelchair back into the unit.

Features of the Roof Spider
The Roof Spider is able to lift manual wheelchairs that weigh up to 25 kg.
The Roof Spider is crash tested and certified to the strictest European standards (adopted in Australia) so you can be confident in its safety.
The Roof Spider will allow you to store away your wheelchair without the aid of others. Furthermore, as the wheelchair is stored in a roof box, you won’t get your vehicle compartment dirty or use up valuable luggage space.
Due to its light weight, the Roof Spider can be fitted in a wide variety of different makes and models.
Bear in mind that the roof box adds 47 cm to the vehicle height above roof rack if you have a garage door height limit to consider.
The Roof Spider loads the wheelchair from either side of the vehicle.
How to load the wheelchair
1) Transfer from the wheelchair to the vehicle seat.
2) Place the wheelchair in a suitable position for lifting the device. Press the
hand control button that corresponds to relevant side. The roof box
lid will then open and the lifting device will be lowered towards the wheelchair. Fold the
wheelchair with the lifting device pressed in between the sides of the seat.
3) Press the hand control button and the Roof Spider will automatically store the wheelchair in the roof compartment.
