Twin Pillar Folding Platform Lift (Skylift)
The Skylift Twin Pillar Lift is a system that is known for its convenience and sturdiness. The Skylift is a fully automatic twin pillar folding platform which comes down to provide the wheelchair easy access into the vehicle. The Sky Lift system is hydraulically operated, coming straight down to the pavement to allow easy vehicle access for the wheelchair user. Once loading and unloading is finished, the platform automatically folds up neatly in the back, taking up very little space. The Sky Lift stands out from the rest in the way that lowering, folding and raising the platform are fully automated. Additionally, the Sky Lift has a high loading capacity, being able to withstand a weight of 320kg.
 
Features of the Twin Pillar Folding Platform Lift
• The platform comes with a non-slip surface which minimises potential slips and accidents.
• The platform folds in half horizontally as not to obstruct the view of the driver when reversing.
• Safety-stop plates for the wheelchair placed on the front and back of the platform. This reduces the possibility of accidents when accessing the platform
• Controlled through a simple 2 button pendant switch.
• Auxiliary emergency hand pumps to allow platform operation in the event of a power failure.
• Can withstand a load for up to 320Kg, allowing it load heavier wheelchairs and scooters.
 
The Skylift comes in three different models with varying dimensions to better suit a wider range of vehicles:
Sky - 1150: 1150 x 800mm
Sky - 1395: 1400 x 800mm
Sky - 1400: 1400 x900mm
