Access Steps for Vans, Buses, Caravans & Motorhomes
To allow for better access to your vehicle, Mobility Engineering offers access steps for vans, buses, Caravans and Motor Homes. These steps allow passengers to get and out of their vehicle with increased ease and safety.
Features of Access Steps
• While the steps are lightweight, they are solid. The steps can handle a static load of up to 200 kg!
• The steps are made of corrugated anodised aluminium while the fastening frame is made from aluminium or warm zinc plated steel. All steps have safe rounded edges.
• We supply manual or motorised steps. The motorised steps provide increased ease of access as the step can be extended and retracted with the simple flip of a switch.
• An additional option is available for a motorised step that automatically folds and unfolds when the door is opened and closed.
• The design standards of all of our van access steps are compliant or exceed all engineering, design and safety requirements set down for vehicles on Australian roads, including European Standard EN1646. This allows you to rest easy, knowing that our products provide you with the safe and high quality solutions.
 
Electronic Option
The Option Electronic is a kit the have the step operate by door contact. The step is also retracted when starting the engine.
